As with all software, the Miniature Painting CD also has its problems. Here is a list of the most common problems. If these solutions don't help you, go to the forum and look or ask: www.kaple.dk/forum.

Q) 	Program won´t start at all: CD-Cops shows up, says "please wait", waits for a few seconds, then the Cd-cops window disappears and nothing happens. Program doesn't load.
A1)	Probably because of a bad Windows XP update. Download the hotfix from Microsoft to solve this here: http://support.microsoft.com/?id=924867
A2)	If the above solution doesn't work follow these steps:
	Remove this Windows XP Hotfix:  KB917422 
	To do this, follow these steps: 
		1. Press start / settings / control panel 
		2. Press add or remove programs 
		3. On XP check the box "Show updates" 
		4. Select security update for windows XP (KB917422) 
		5. Click Remove. 
		6. Reboot. 
	As far as I have found out KB917422 doesn't have any important effect on security, bit fixes minor issues in special circumstances. But if you are worried, run a search on the file on google. 

Q) 	Missing movie #6 about dybrushing
A) 	Download it here: http://www.kaple.dk/stuff/6.zip and simply put the 6.mov file from the .zip file into the directory where the other videos are installed on your computer.


Q) 	I've finished installing the cd's and when I attempt to run the application I receive an error message that says: C:\WINDOWS\SYSTEM32\AUTOEXEC.NT.The system file is not suitable for running MS-DOS ans Microsoft Windows applications. Chose 'Close' to terminate the application. 
A) 	Look at the solution to the first problem, if this doesn't work try the following free scan, which will sort out the registry problem that is causing the problem:

	This is a safe scan, that does not put spyware or the like on your computer.
